The company is based in Geelong, Australia (commonly referred to as the “wool capital of the world”) with a second home in San Clemente, CA. From all accounts, the company is very involved in all phases of shoe and boot production, beginning with the sourcing and then tanning, and finally, manufacturing Emu Boots. They’ve adopted the motto and want the world to believe that they make the "world’s most comfortable boots.
